This Privacy Policy describes how Lumi ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Lumi: Self-Love Affirmations mobile application ("Lumi" or the "App"). Lumi is a daily self-care companion, and we have designed it to respect your privacy: the App requires no account, and the personal content you create remains on your device.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
During onboarding and ongoing use, you may provide information such as your first name and the goals you select, and you may create journal entries, gratitude notes, a daily streak, reminder times, favorites, and customizations. This information is stored locally on your device and is not collected by us. Deleting the App removes this information from your device.
We use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand how the App is used so that we can improve it (for example, which features are used and where users encounter difficulty). These analytics are anonymous: we do not collect your name or email and do not identify you. PostHog may process limited technical information, such as a randomly generated device identifier, the App version, device type, and approximate region.
If you purchase a Lumi Premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which we use to verify your subscription status and unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your payment card details; these are handled solely by Apple.
If we conduct advertising campaigns, we may use attribution technologies (such as the TikTok SDK) to measure which campaign led you to install the App. On iOS, this relies on Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and occurs only if you grant permission when prompted. You may decline, and you may change this preference at any time in your device settings.
With your permission, the App can send daily reminders. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and can be disabled at any time in the App or in your device settings.
We use information to provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features; to measure and improve performance and the user experience through anonymous analytics; to process, verify, and restore subscriptions; and to measure the effectiveness of advertising, where you have granted permission.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that enable the App to function, namely Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, and, where applicable, advertising-attribution providers, and only to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Personal content you create is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Anonymous analytics are retained by our analytics provider in accordance with its standard retention practices.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.
The App may be used from various countries. By using the App, you understand that information processed by our service providers may be handled in countries other than your own, consistent with this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operators of Lumi ("we", "us", or "our") regarding the Lumi: Self-Love Affirmations mobile application ("Lumi" or the "App"). Please read them carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Lumi is a personal self-care companion that provides daily affirmations, gentle exercises, a private journal, a streak, and a customizable companion character. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Lumi is intended for encouragement, motivation, and self-reflection only. It does not provide medical, psychological, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling or experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. You are solely responsible for decisions you make concerning your health and wellbeing.
The App is free to download and use. Lumi Premium is an optional, auto-renewable subscription that unlocks cosmetic customization options for your companion (additional colors, accessories, and backgrounds). Premium does not restrict access to affirmations or core self-care features.
Content you create in the App, such as journal entries, is stored on your device. You retain responsibility for the content you create and confirm that it does not violate any law or the rights of others.
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, interfere with, or disrupt the App, or by using it in violation of any applicable law.
The App, including its design, content, branding, and the Lumi character, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App.
We may modify the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
